- Medsphere GSD's general management principles are based on the most current development methodologies, including those of the Software Engineering Institute (SEI), the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Project Management Institute (PMI). Specifically, our robust project planning methodology is based on the Project Management Institute's Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMI PMBOK), which includes quality assurance and communications, scope, requirements, schedule, cost, staffing and risk management.
- Medsphere GSD's formal, structured project lifecycle plans clearly document scope of work, quality management, lines of communication, reporting requirements and paths of escalation for risks and issues. Our program and project management services include analysis and reporting on project activities and accomplishments, defined issues, resource utilization, and contractor performance, and earned value reporting. In addition, Medsphere GSD details all costs attributed to the project.
- For complex program monitoring, our methodology includes expertise in both Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and application scheduling functionalities. Medsphere GSD was recently recognized by VA for contributions to a medical appointment scheduling contest. We leveraged our scheduling expertise; VistA experience; and knowledge of modern platforms, technologies, frameworks and programming languages to provide a modernized solution that enables veterans to more efficiently make appointments for inpatient and outpatient care.
